Tervarit Juniorit is a junior football club located in Oulu, Finland. We have teams for children from five-year-olds to teenagers. Established in the 1990s, we currently have more than 500 members. Our aim is to offer football for everyone, regardless of their starting level.

We are a registered association, and our activities are guided by the Finnish Associations Act. The Board of the association makes strategic decision, while the daily activities are run by our staff and volunteers. We also employ dozens of coaches. We are proudly part of the Hercules community of clubs.

While our club operates mainly in Finnish, football is a universal language. Language is not a barrier when you are out on the green turf!

Want to try out football and our club?

You can come and try out our training sessions for free for a few times. You can try out during any stage of the year.

• Check our active teams under the menu Joukkueet. For example, Tervarit 17 is the team for children born in 2017, Tervarit 18 is for 2018-born, and so on. You will find up-to-date information on when and where the training sessions are held in each team’s calendar.
  
  
  • In addition to these age teams, our club also has other football activities. For example, Easy-futis is aimed for children who want to have fun and have football as a hobby instead of aiming to be playing in the Premier League.
• Please show up about 15 minutes before the training session starts. Tell the coaches that you are there for the first time trying out the hobby and our club.
• Regular sportswear, e.g. shorts and a t-shirt, is enough for the try-out session. No special football kit (such as football shoes) is required. Do bring a filled drinks bottle with you! If you have a football, you can also bring it with you. Football size 3 is for children under nine, size 4 for older.
• After the training session, the coaches will tell you how to join our club if you want to continue with the hobby.
