For the ninth year, Tervarit Juniorit Ry has been offering employment services, such as courses and work experience (työkokeilu) opportunities.
Tervarit Juniorit has been managing ESF funded employment projects since 2017. The first employment project, Pallo Hallussa, ended in 2020. Moving Forward in Oulu (Eteenpäin Oulussa) project ended in 2022, and our new employment project, Motio, started in the beginning of 2023.
Motio project (ESF+):
- Employment project operating in Oulu from 1/2023 to 12/2025.
- Main goals:
- To help 300 people outside of working force to get jobs or start studies.
- To combine seasonal work into a longer-term employment relationship with the help of short training courses and business pairs.
- To change companies' attitudes towards hiring refugees and immigrants and help them respond to the recruitment shortage.
- We offer short courses and card trainings.
- Our services are free of charge.
- Service languages are Finnish, English, Arabic and Swedish.
